Meet Michelle Shelton, PA-C

Michelle Shelton grew up in Austin, Texas. She attended the University of Texas in Austin where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology in 2012. After her time at UT, she worked as an Endoscopy Technician for three years before deciding she wanted to become a Physician Assistant.

 

Michelle graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2018. Before joining Word Dermatology, Michelle worked at a pediatric practice for two years. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Working as part of the Word Dermatology team “is a dream come true”! She is very passionate about dermatological care, patient education, and serving all of our patient’s skin care needs.  

 

When she’s not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband have a sweet black lab named Tucker who loves to play ball every chance he gets. Michelle loves doing all things outdoors – especially hiking and spending time on the lake. One of her favorite pastimes is trying new coffee shops and restaurants with her husband.
